Checkmate
The Checkmate design is a handwoven window sheer made of a large checkerboard pattern of alternating plain and lace weaves. Each square is subtly outlined in mulberry silk, which is naturally pale gold in color and offers a lovely contrast against the dry, crisp linen fiber. The hand is light and quintissentially linen. This fabric is washed and tumbled dry before being ironed, so it has a more casual, laid-back quality. Its refinement is in the details.
