Aurora Panel in soft gold (106-1)
Somewhere between an artwork and a fabric panel, the Aurora design uses seven different yarns of European Linen, cotton, rayon, silk, and kid mohair to achieve this large-scale ombre. There is no repeat, with the color and texture transition occurring through a mix of planning and on loom intuition. The top of the panel is primarily a linen basketweave with accents of the other yarns sneaking in. The middle part of the panel starts to introduce two different cotton boucle yarns and finally ends in a brushed kid mohair/silk blend. As the visual weight of the panel becomes heavier as your gaze moves down, so does the actual physical weight of the fabric.
